PILATES

Pilates emphasizes your body’s core, the abdomen, obliques, lower back, inner and outer thighs, butt and so on. Pilates develops strength, flexibility, muscular endurance, coordination, balance and control of the body. Pilates also focuses on creating a healthy body posture and length in the spine.
Pilates focuses on a balance between all the muscles in the body. The overstrained muscles can relax more to release tension and the more weak muscles will be activated and strengthened.

Circuit training is an invigorating workout involving high-intensity aerobic and resistance training exercises which are easy to follow. Circuit Training is suitable for a whole range of desirable outcomes, including improved physical endurance, weight loss and better general fitness. Suitable for all levels of fitness.

Spin is the indoor cycle class where you ride to the rhythm of powerful music. Take on the terrain with your inspiring team instructor who leads the cycling pack through hills, flats, mountain peaks, time trials, and interval training.

BASIC TRAINING

BASIC TRAINING

Is a combination of exercises performed with short rest periods between them for either a set number of repetitions or a prescribed amount of time. Multiple circuits can be performed in one training session. Basic training will usually involve a multitude of exercises structured in a way that enables you to keep performing the exercises with good technique and very short rest intervals. Basic training is very time efficient which makes it a popular method of training.

A.B.T is a fun class designed as a low impact class that works to tone and sculpt the entire body with particular focus on the Abs, Butt and Thighs (ABT)! It includes a combination of muscle toning and strength training.

MOVE WITH EASE

MOVE WITH EASE

Is an Exercise Physiology Therapy group class consisting of participants who have an individually prescribed exercise program incorporating cardiovascular, strength, balance and flexibility exercises. All programs and classes are prescribed by an Accredited Exercise Physiologist. The Move with Ease class involves a 1 hour exercise session, performed twice a week. Participants involved experience group support, are coached to use good exercise technique and are motivated by their peers to keep attending the fun / non-threatening atmosphere.

The beauty of yoga is that you don’t have to be a yogi or yogini to reap the benefits. Whether you are young or old, overweight or fit, yoga has the power to calm the mind and strengthen the body. Don’t be intimidated by yoga terminology, fancy yoga studios and complicated poses. Yoga is for everyone.

YIN YOGA

Yin yoga targets the fascia, bones, ligaments and joints – allowing the free flow of energy through our blood vessels, nervous system and Nadi (life force channels). These areas like to be cool, hence the slowness of the practice. Yin yoga is simple but that does not mean it is easy. This is not a restorative class. Each posture is held for 3 to 5 minutes. It is available to YOU if you are willing to meet yourself where you are at. Using the posture to explore inside your body NOT using your body to achieve the posture. Our goal in life is not to become perfect. Our goal is to become whole. See you in class.

BODYPUMP™ is a barbell workout for anyone looking to get lean, toned and fit – fast. Using light to moderate weights with lots of repetition, BODYPUMP gives you a total body workout. It can burn up to 540 calories. Instructors will coach you through the scientifically proven moves and techniques pumping out encouragement, motivation and great music – helping you achieve much more than on your own. You’ll leave the class feeling challenged and motivated, ready to come back for more. BODYPUMP is available as a either a 55, 45 or 30-minute workout.
